We decided to carry out a Cash on Demand review to see what was involved in Andrew Reynolds monthly course. We therefore sent away for the free trial package that he advertises on his website at www.ec.tv.

At the recent Andrew Reynolds Cash on Demand Bootcamp attendees were able to see a live example of Andrews philanthropic endeavours. During a trip to the townships near Cape Town, South Africa, as a tourist on a guided tour Andrew was introduced to several entrepreneurs who where striving to change their lives and the lives of people around them. Realising some synergy between what he teaches in his Cash on Demand system and these start-up entrepreneurs, Andrew decided to hold back from the tour group and to spend some time chatting.

First stop was Vicky’s B & B where he met the owner who had enlarged the size of her shack which now boasted 2 stories and what Vicky calls ‘the honeymoon suite’ at her humble B & B establishment. Posters on the walls declared this to be the worlds smallest B & B. Andrew Reynolds Cash on Demand students witnessed on video talking Andrew through the plans for an ambitious re-housing project she and her neighbours had each undertaken. Vicky explained that they had torn down 20 houses in their community and were in the process of building replacement brick built homes with proper roofs and gardens. Andrew Reynolds Cash on Demand students then watched as Vicky explained that the project had run out of money half way through. After discussions Andrew volunteered to provide 100% of the remaining funding required to get the houses completed before the onset of winter.

The tourist bus then moved on to another part of Khayelitsha where the Andrew Reynolds Cash on Demand party met with a lovely lady called Rosie who runs her own meal centre for local children who have no other means of obtaining their daily meals.

When the Camberley based Disability Initiative Charity recently celebrated its 35^th Birthday they received a Royal visit by the Countess of Wessex.

The charity also received a £30,000 cheque gifted by Andrew Reynolds.

The charity started out in 1975. The title was then the Camberley Association for the Disabled. The aim was to support physically disabled people in the area.

When Andrew Reynolds first heard of the charity, he funded a range of equipment for the centre.

Each year Andrew Reynolds continues to fund their activity programmes.

Andrew Reynolds latest gift of £30,000 to the charity will help to fund the new initiative. The charity is keen to start operating day centre resources in nearby towns.

This is what Andrew Reynolds said about this latest idea, “I am very excited by this latest support programme developed by the team at Disability Initiative and jumped at the opportunity to help fund the programme to ensure that it could begin as soon as possible”

Lucy Brown, Chief Executive of DI had this to say about Andrew Reynolds generous new donation, “Andrews on-going generosity and commitment to the charity allows us to push the boundaries and enable us to reach out to people who currently do not access a service such as the one we provide here at DI.”

During the 35^th birthday celebrations the charity were also celebrating ten years of being in the purpose built centre. The centre had officially been opened by the charity’s patron the Countess of Wessex and her husband Prince Edward.

Andrew Reynolds said “I was very moved when an elderly lady explained to me how she used to sit at home day after day with absolutely no contact with anybody – and how the mini bus has now meant that she can now be picked up from home to go to the local Ian Goodchild centre for lunch and to take part in various activities with others at the centre”. Andrew Reynolds says he has a business acquaintance who sports a wrist watch that cost more than the mini bus. “ To me the look on the ladies face was far more important than a glitzy piece of jewellery”.

World Kickboxing Champion, Paul Bernard runs a unique black belt scholarship scheme. It is aimed at helping high-spirited youngsters escape a life of getting into trouble.

Andrew Reynolds supports Paul Bernard’s work of teaching youngsters discipline, respect and self-worth through martial arts. The programme is run jointly by Precision Martial Arts and Hart and Rushmoor Youth Inclusion and Support Panel (YISP).

YISP are part of the Wessex Youth Offending Team. They work with children who play truant and have problems at home and at school. Often the eight to thirteen year olds are referred to YISP by police, children’s services, teachers or community safety teams and sometimes even parents who want to steer their children clear of crime.

Andrew Reynolds first learned of the scholarship scheme from the local news. He says, “I immediately wanted to become involved. This project offers a great foundation of stability for these young people and is a project I am very proud to be supporting.”

Andrew Reynolds donated funds to the project. The donations from Andrew Reynolds will continue to fund the three-to-five year black belt course for three Hampshire boys.

Ross Clynes, aged 14, Aiden Nisbet, 13 and Paul Linsell, 12, started the course in autumn 2009. Andrew Reynolds pledged a further £3,000 to the programme.

Andrew Reynolds says, “I have been impressed by the progress made by the three lads.” Parents and case workers say they have seen positive changes in the youngsters since beginning the course.

Master Paul Bernard adds, “We are very grateful to Andrew Reynolds for his vision and support for this project. His generous donation will help these three boys continue through their black belt scholarship.

The scheme is proof that martial arts can help children with challenging behaviour turn their lives around. The three YISP boys I am coaching have come along in leaps and bounds. They arrived with attitude but within six weeks were attentive and willing to learn.

All three have gained confidence, control and discipline. They have learned to walk away from trouble. The boys are determined to finish the black belt scholarship course at Precision, and thanks to Andrew Reynolds, they are well on the way to achieving that.”

Every year Andrew Reynolds has at least one Entrepreneurs Bootcamp.

Over the years these have been held in different arenas, such as the Brighton Centre, BIC and the Wembley Conference Centre. In 2010 Andrew Reynolds and his team staged the biggest bootcamp of all at the 02 Arena.

Andrew Reynolds inspiring leadership which led to this award was won over finalists including the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson for his launch of London’s new ICC at the Excel Centre, BT Wholesale and Peugeot for their RCZ launch.

The Star studded awards ceremony was held in the interesting setting of the Bloomsbury Big Top.

Andrew Reynolds received the award from Dame Kelly Holmes. Also receiving the award with Andrew was Rick Stainton MD of Smyle Events.

Rick Stainton and his team at Smyle Events managed all the production aspects of Andrew Reynolds Entreprenurs Bootcamp at the 02 Arena. This was no mean feat, as there were many technical challenges involved in creating the largest indoor projection screen ever used in the UK and a first for the 02.

This is what Andrew Reynolds said as he accepted the award, “To receive this award is a very great honour, especially given the ‘Big Business’ events we were up against for this award. For our Entrepreneurs Bootcamp event to be recognized within the UK conference and events industry as one of the top two Business Events in London is great recognition.

The event was a huge success and praise has to go to the team at Smyle Events who managed all the production aspects of bringing our vision for the potential of this massive event to the stage of the 02 Arena.”

Andrew Reynolds stepped aside as Rick Stainton of Smyle Events added, “Many attendees of the Entrepreneurs Bootcamp went online at C&IT and voted for the event, we were bowled over by the hundreds of comments left by those attendees who wrote from their heart about what a massive positive impact the Bootcamp event had on them.”

During the award ceremony Twiggy was recognized with an outstanding achievement award. Aleisha Dixon was presented with the Sound of London award. Andrew Reynolds and his team, with Rick Stainton and his team, sat amongst the other guests listening to performances by Aleisha Dixon and Mica Paris who sand with the London Community Gospel Choir.

In 2007 Andrew Reynolds made his first donation to the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice in Farnham. The money was used to set up a ‘Clinical Nurse Specialist’ (CNS) team.

This gives the hospice nurses who go out and treat patients in their homes within the local community. They provide specialist palliative care services to patients and their families for as long as possible.

The CNS team set up with Andrew Reynolds funding, also provides CNS support for Nursing Homes and GPs District Nurses all with the aim of increasing the ‘end of life’ skills for clinical staff who already work in the local community.

Securing funding and recruiting staff for posts had initially been major obstacles in getting the project up and running.

When Andrew Reynolds stepped in with the offer to finance the running of one of the CNS Teams for 3 years in 2007 at just over £56,000 a year, the money was used to provide a vehicle and equipment such as Laptops, mobile phones etc, to provide direct funding for a CNS Team.

Because this CNS Team was so successful, in its first 3 years, Andrew Reynolds offered to continue funding for a further 3years.

Andrew Reynolds has now pledged a further £185,000 to the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice over the next 3 years. This latest donation by Andrew Reynolds will continue to help fund the on-going community CNS team that the hospice provide.

Andrew Reynolds has nothing but words of praise for the work being done by the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice. Andrew says, “What is really special about the PTH is the fact that they offer such amazing care. Their facilities are of the highest standard and on my first visit I was struck by how ‘un hospice’ it felt – the whole place had a warm friendly feel and everywhere you looked were home comforts.

When I met the staff and patients you couldn’t help to notice how high the standard of care was – I was genuinely bowled over by how the whole organization had exceeded my expectations.”

As Andrew Reynolds said later, “The success of the CNS Team in its first 3 years and the positive impact it has had on not only the local community but also further outreaching to existing care services offering further support and education, proves what a worthy initiative this was and I am extremely happy to continue funding this much needed community nursing team for the next 3 years.”

Andrew Reynolds Entrepreneurs Bootcamp at the 02 Arena was attended by around 8,000 delegates.

The event proved so successful that Andrew Reynolds Entrepreneurs Bootcamp wins Award for Best UK and International Conference at the Eventia Awards 2010.

This was the second award Andrew Reynolds had received in the year for the Entrepreneurs Bootcamp event.

Andrew Reynolds Entrepreneurs Bootcamp was the largest two day conference ever held at the 02 Arena.

When he received this second award, Andrew Reynolds said, “We are completely bowled over about winning such recognition amongst the cream of the events industry – not just here in the UK but internationally too.

To be nominated in the first place, was an honour for us – but to actually receive this prestigious award means so much to the whole team involved in pulling off this record breaking event.”

The Entrepreneurs Bootcamp which attracted the award included moving walls and risers to smoothly reveal a Bentley Continental GT car. Andrew Reynolds gave away his own Bentley as a prize to raise money for the Make a Wish children’s charity.

In all, at the 02 Entrepreneurs Bootcamp organized by Andrew Reynolds, over £720,000 was raised for the Make a Wish children’s charity.
